U Sylvester Community Event – BG Integrative Studio – Cosmetic & Medical Tattoo Service

Founded and led by artist Ysdaly Thielen, BG Integrative Studio is where beauty meets healing. The studio offers a holistic approach to beauty, wellness, and self-care, providing compassion and empathy to all, with a special focus on the breast cancer survivor community.

As a cancer survivor herself, Ysdaly Thielen understands the unique challenges that patients face on their journey to recovery. 

For the past three years, BG Integrative Studio has been privileged to serve the community, helping many survivors heal through the transformative power of beauty and medical tattooing procedures.

Additionally, the studio is now connected with several insurance networks, offering survivors coverage options for medical tattooing procedures.

BG Integrative Studio has participated in Cancer Survivor Walks, Health Expos, yoga and retreat activities for survivors.

They have also been a part of symposiums and health fairs for the Hispanic and Haitian communities. 

BG Integrative Studio is actively involved in various organizations, including the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, the American Cancer Society, and the Community Advisory Committee at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Miami where Johana Jiminez, Director of Strategic Partnerships, serves as the Survivorship & Support Services Community Co-Leader.

The BG Integrative Studio team is dedicated to being a valuable resource for the cancer survivor community. 

Their team aims to connect with everyone who reaches out and are eager to partner with as many individuals and organizations as possible, so together they can make a difference in the lives of many.
